We got us a big man that lives a life of Dainja.

There is not an aspect of Dain that I'm not impressed with. He put in the work to get his body right. He has tremendous footwork. He attacks the boards. Most importantly for a freshman big, he doesn't foul. We can't ask for a better backup big. And he's only going to get better.
He euro stepped in the post. Lmao. Guys got some crazy talent.

Danika is a pleasant surprise, but the freshmen are showing huge potential. I’m most impressed with Rodgers . . . it seems he has some serious game.

of course, I thought the same about Jereme Richmond . . 😣

The best thing about how things have shown so far is...Dain....everything so far says.....yes!!!

First Half: The Good 78.6% FT
The Bad 35.3% FG
The Ugly 20.0% 3PT
Subtract all those threes and the 2 pt FG is 8-14. That's a much better .571

Would love to see more production from RJ in the second half.
I’m still waiting for Skyy to take control.
Epps really showing great patience and decision making when attacking the paint.
DD is a beast with nice handles and footwork.

I like that Clack is sharing the ball but I would like him to look for his shot a bit more often as well. His shot looks good and he has turned down some good looks Epps and Harris have been taking.

Ok call me crazy but Dainja might actually be the best player on the team
Not sure this team has a best player or needs to have one. They have nine guys that can make huge contributions to any game and the closer they get to raising their level of play the more difficult it will be to beat them...even the very best teams, of which they will be one.

He would have landed on the shoulders of the guy underneath. The ref in this case made the right call
He had no reason to bring his legs up like that in the first place. It was a Shaq dunk.

Not that I completely hate that or anything. Just seems like something they call later in the year. I bet the ref warned him.

I’m convinced in Dain was 4” taller and 20 lbs lighter he’d be Hakeem Olajuwon.

EPIC EPPS EVOLUTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dainja with the Lipton's teabag dunk...........Dainja with 7 pts and 12 rebs......

Crazy athletic team we have........So exciting to see movement , drives and kick outs , finding the open man on an out of bounds play......remember the trouble we have had in previous years with just getting it in bounds......

I believe we will have a 9-10 man rotation all year long and then add Luke's skills to the mix after the first of the new year.......................There is some serious talent on this Illini squad and BU and staff will figure out how best to use it ...........The full court passive press is great to use starting from the first game tip off and makes our future opponents game plan for that .......So many fast players with such elite talent leads this old hippie to think we have a h*lla super season in front of us .........

No way. It was a safety issue
