If there is one position Ryan Walters defense has no answer for it is the TE they have burned us all year long. The delayed blitz by Brown opened up the seam and the TE exploited it and Smith could not get over in time. Our coordinators while good have had their counterparts get the better of them on both sides of the ball the past two games

little babies constantly posting the same crap. Have a snickers or something, jeezThe Ryan Walter's talk has quieted down a bit. Defense has not looked the same in weeks. No pass rush and just to throw it in the officials must be wearing Purdue polo's under their stripes.
Yeah, the refs are rewarding throwing the ball. Purdue has been doing it. We haven't. We got a significant PI call in our favor when we were aggressive as well. Have to play it as the refs are calling it, not as we wish they were calling it.
Nothing in these games happens in a vacuum. This all started going way downhill after the 1st half non-PI PI call. From the touchdown directly resulting from it, to the scuffle at half, to the last touchdown. Plenty of blame to place on our guys, but the calls are also part of the game and there have been many.
By now this team of officials absolutely knows they blew the first half PI call on Witherspoon which has the potential to be a truly terrible call that could swing the game in Purdue's favor.
Think maybe we get a second half makeup call? Or at least the back off the ridiculous phantom PI calls in critical situations?
Nope. Double down. Make an arguably even worse PI call on Brown in an even more critical situation. Now REALLY tilt the game in Purdue's favor. Make it a total joke.

I'd like to see devito or Williams counter take off n run once. Purdue is following brown everywhere.

That PI call wasn't worse than the one on Spoon, not even close. It was 50/50 and if it happened against us and was a no call I guarantee most on here would complain.
