The Illini are more loaded with complete players (defense, ball handling, rebounding, movement, and shot creation) than I can remember since the glory days of Dee, Deron, and company. We will be fun to watch and a nightmare to game plan against. Coach Underwood has built this team for speed, toughness, and strength, and they will only get better.

It is time for this team to play a team with equal or better talent....enough cupcakes already. Only way to learn is from seeing the standards you come up short against. Hope they answer the challenge and learn quickly. Seems like they are getting to know what each other can do and getting comfortable with one another...fun to watch but it gets boring quickly.
