Time to see what we're made of
Just flipped over to the Baylor-Virginia game. Lots of passive (for this game) orange and blue in the stands!
ILL-INI chants during the Baylor/Virginia game
Sadly, I won't be there in person today. Back gave out before I was able to make the drive :-( That said, it might be for the better- the last few times I've seen our Illini in person they've underperformed (that said, my overall track record is pretty solid when it comes to win percentage so *shrug*), plus lying on my bed to watch is probably better than asking the people in the neighboring seats if they'd be willing to let me lay on their laps to watch the game. In any case, let's play some smart aggressive basketball today and make this happen!
PS: For anyone questioning Mayer's performance thus far this season, back and neck injuries suck...

Illini had excellent ticket sales for this event, exceeding the other fan bases. Now, how we ended up on ESPNU is still a head-scratcher. What other games are competing for that time slot?
Lol damn that's crazy. How does that even start? I guess just because Illinois fans are like thatDamn right.

Would love to see RJ breakout this game - 20+ pts, 5+ boards
If we wind up playing Virginia, we definitely are going to need to be aware on their in-bound plays. They're getting themselves some really nice looks off them.
