This game showcased everything this a deep athletic team can do. The coaching adjustment to press was the perfect solution to the 2 man game UCLA used in the first half. Everyone who played contributed

Hell of a way to come back and close out the win. As fans we really need to realize how young this team and how little they've played together. This first half of the season we are really going to struggle with our turnovers and our halfcourt offensive sets, but when we start getting more comfortable playing together and knowing where everyone is supposed to be on the floor, this team has a legit chance to be extremely extremely good. I don't think I've ever seen a freshmen class this good defensively from the get go. And no I don't mean for just the Illini. I mean within college basketball. It is scary how good these kids are defensively. The ceiling is so high for them because of that. Offense will come back to them, but that defense is legit.
