Epps missed a 3. They hit a 3. That’s basically what it came down to. Tough fought, top 25 road game in the Big Ten. Would’ve looked good on the resume, but let’s go beat Texas.

This is a good Maryland team. I feel like we would still beat them 6 or 7 times out of 10 on a neutral court. Tough loss.

Never really realized until tonight how trashy Maryland's fans are. Makes the loss that much more difficult to stomach. We're fine though. Doesn't change my outlook on the season.

Incredible fight to get back into the game. For a moment there it looked like we may lose by 20+.

One too many freshman/ first year moments tonight. At the end Maryland made a few plays and we did not.

Give MD credit. They hit the big shot. And we didn’t. Great teams find ways to win in close games. I liked our D tonight though. Underwood will make us a better team after the loss. When you lose 85% of your scoring from previous year it takes time. We’ll be fine.

Dain and Epps grew a lot during this game. Basically we have 5 freshman, and they'll improve every game. This one stings, but we'll be a he**uva team in March.
