I really think fans better brace themselves for ten losses or more.
Duh! We are 8-3 so losing 7 more this year is likely.

We have 20 scheduled games left (19 Power 5) then add 5 or so more games for B10 & NCAA tourney. Going 18-7 for the rest of the year is still a damn good year and still a top 20 team.

We have a punchers chance with this years team to be special and get past the sweet 16. I am still excited, as I think we can play with anyone I've seen so far.

No where else to put this. I just learned today that Efrem Winters full name is Efrem Zimbalist Winters. My fandom of him just increased by about a billion percent.

I’d be pretty happy w 10 losses. This is not some uber-talented group that can overwhelm most teams in our way. We’ve got some nice pieces but these guys have played very few games together.

10 losses equals:
-No National Championship
-No B1G Tourney Championship
-13-7 B1G record (likely puts us around 3rd to 5th)

I'm expecting a better B1G record but this isn't unrealistic.

While I am concerned with the last two games and the apparent leadership issues, still not yet overly concerned about where the team can be in March. We have won B10 championships in the recent past but that has not translated to tournament success. Also not concerned if we finish 3rd to 5th in the league this year, as long as we find success in the tournament. Most of the hand wringing is a direct result of the Penn St loss - and less so, the Alabama A&M scare - and that is understandable. But if we had beaten Penn St we would be chalking the Alabama A&M game to out of conference, taking opponent lightly, looking ahead to Mizzou, etc. I keep reminding myself that Kansas lost last year to an NIT team in Dayton, and they ended the season on top. Hopeful the team can gel sooner rather than later and prepare for a season ending run.
