Do I think Harris is our most talented freshman or player? No I do not. Others are more talented but with all BUs talk about leadership and playing hard then reinforce it! Harris deserves to be in the game until others match his intensity. The bench can be a better motivator than just yelling all the time if you ask me.

This is clearly on both the coaching staff and players. Teams with as much talent as we have, having beaten two legitimate final four contenders and taking another to the wire - and looking very good doing so - do not suddenly have a string of games like this. Some major, unknown issues with this team; and this is sadly where NIL, the transfer portal, and the overall lack of sensible management of the sport by the NCAA have brought this "sport" to I am afraid. Used to love college basketball.

At some point though the yelling and screaming at the team just loses the motivational intent. The coaches need to figure out something else to get through to them. At this point, this team isn’t an NCAA tourney team. A lot of games left. We can get it figured out.

Going forward I think Skyy needs to come off the bench the rest of the year. I know he’s our big time recruit coming off injury but it is what it is. His defense makes him unplayable if he’s not scoring well. Our whole defensive system collapses when he’s on the floor.

But also, I don't even care at this point. We could play 4-5 on offense just as effectively as we do now, but our defense looks light years better.
