I have never seen anyone even close to as bad at timing their jumps as Coleman Hawkins. He's in a league of his own.

Maters plus minus has to be insanely high right now. I feel like we are a different team when he’s on the floor

He’s Sturdy And Dependable.

I see what most see...a talented team that does not understand the smaller details very well. Most are things you learn in 4th or 5th grade. Blunders aplenty in the details.

It really is a double edged sword with Hawkins. We absolutely need him if we're going anywhere this season, but when he is off he is often the worst player on the floor. I just wish Underwood would have a quicker hook with him when things start going bad.
He must have compromising pictures on someone.

Subconsciously or consciously, I have watched way too much D1 basketball to believe that they DONT exist

We saw a blatant makeup call last in the Minnesota/Ohio State game on a non-tipped/foul that held despite clear evidence to the contrary. And because the coaches were mic’ed, we literally heard the official say “I didn’t see anything that would change the call.” Everyone watching saw zero tip, but a likely foul. The tip could be reviewed, the foul could not, but the call stood. Either that’s a makeup call or the refs eyesight is so bad he can’t see the play, slowed down, on a TV monitor.

The Galloping Ghost

Washington, DC
The pluses are that Dain's free throw shooting looks significantly improved, the crowd is loud, and we're only down 4. The minuses...man, we are getting blown by on defense, we aren't moving on offense, and we're getting significantly out-rebounded. Clean it up on both ends of the floor and crash the boards. This game is still very much there for the taking.

This is where Sencire is unfortunately a hindrance. He’s a pest on the ball, but once a bigger guard like Hoggard or Akins gets by him, Harris is done for. Ty hasn’t been razor sharp tonight either. RJ is a step slow guarding Hoggard and Walker. This is why MSU is a tough out. Guards, Guards, Guards.

Half court offense does not exist and we're 2 months into season pathetic.

Ok, we played horribly in the first half and we're only down 4. I'll take it.
I wouldn’t say horribly at all. We’ve seen horrible. Not Great, Okay that sounds about right.

I think, a lot of us look winded. Flu bug?

That none charge call early that would've been two on Hoggard hurt.
Some of the other calls at the end on RJ looked like missed calls from here in the 200 section.
Still we gotta attack the bucket and make shots in the lane. We missed several lay up.and put backs by Harris,Epps,Rodgers and other put backs. We got the ball to start. Let's convert and play better D second half.
