Mayer needs to stop being shoot-first every time he touches the ball. Our offensive sets frequently fall apart when he gets the ball at the top of the key.

I watched NW-Iowa yesterday. NW looked so consistent and focused for the entire game. We play in spurts, then suck in spurts.
He looks like he's sick to me tonight. Hopefully somebody else gets hot in the second half.

Offense good first 8 minutes then went in crapper
This team is so damn frustrating. Way too many offensive droughts. Too many 3 point shots. Just seems to dial out way more than they should. ADHD team for sure. They should be up 20. They always open the door to let teams get back in.
No killer instinct. Not a good sign for post season success.

It’s frustrating. I really thought they would come out and blow this team out from the start. We are only up 6 against a team that has only 1 win in the B1G. Lol
They are playing on one day break between games as well. If we thought we were gonna see a 120 point outburst, we'd be kidding ourselves.

Epps has been asked to do a ton this year. Being asked to run the point, as a true freshman, mid season was a HUGE ask. He's getting caught in the paint with nowhere to go sometimes, the ball seems to stick a bit and there's really no flow. I think that workload has effected his shooting. Defensively, he's had some issues getting bullied by more physical guards.. It's such a critical position and he's doing as much as can be reasonably be expected. That's an area that I'm really hoping can be cleaned. Kudos to the kid though.
And we have had no non-starters score in the game ... and we are at home.
