At the margin, however, (IIRC) CoHawk stopped at least him twice leading to an Illini possession, which was ~ the difference in the game.
He just seems to lock in during those late game moments in defense. Seriously can’t keep count of all the times he’s done it.
I think what we’re seeing is the NBA game bleeding into the college game. The day of the Shaq-style big man is fading fast. Dickenson is an inside-outside type of player and a middle-only big man has become a detriment. We were able to win a lot of games with Kofi, but ultimately that style of play cost us against Loyola and Houston (and to a lesser extent, Chattanooga).

My custom Illini Chuck Taylors did not fare as well thanks to the Penn State game, I'm 3-1.
I honestly don't understand why every goaltend isn't a reviewable play.
That can guard 1-5 and play point … The skill set has scouts salivating and he doesn’t even have a jumper yet …
I hope RJ sticks around. This year didn't set up for him but he has the juice.
Jekyll and Hyde, once again. When this team plays with this energy, they can be very hard to beat. I hope Epps can come back sooner than later and feed off this type of energy for the Big Ten tournament. After this win, maybe the best 8th seed? Or worst 7th seed?
