Yes, they will. But teams bylaws state: “If the Illini lose to the Boilers by 20 or more points, the Beef House team menu shall be limited to rolls only (no butter or jam).”

2 - TSJ
3 - RJ
4 - MM
5 - CH

DD - idk anymore, hansberry may come in better than he is right now.
Luke playing tough nosed ball but nothing offensively.

Im not sure what else qe can do. We dont have the consistent talent or bball IQ to do much with.

Sencire and Jayden I'd guess will be out for 1st game of B10, sencire will stiffen up from that shot he took.

Double post and rotate, trap at corners, mix up defense, 5 rebounder,
Quick ball movement, communicate.

I don't think that anyone on this board truly, in their heart of hearts, thought we'd win this game. That said, it's the same ole, same ole with with this team:

Slow start
Turnovers
Inability to keep the other teams guards in check
Scoring droughts
Poor shooting from behind the arc

TSJ's complete meltdown has been a huge story.

Agreed. Dain is just a huge negative with a lot of these matchups. Just not useful unless the other team can’t shoot and he can post up

Make a run in big tournament and then in ncaa....

We are 8 seed capable of losing to anyone and beating anyone

Tsj and Matt have been pretty much non existent today. That doesn’t bode well for us. I think those two will play much better in the second half and we close this to under 10. I’m not going to predict a victory though. I might be an optimist, but i’m not stupid.

Man, we looked really good for a bit after we woke up. But that last segment of the half was tough to watch. Not to be hard on Shannon but how are you this caliber of a division one basketball player and so weak (as a guard) at simply bringing the ball up the court. 5 turnovers is bad for anyone, but to do it as a senior in one half is awful. It’ll be tough to dig out of this game but hopefully we can at least make it respectable. Sadly, we are just too good at making other teams look good.

Was hoping we could keep it within 10 or so to have a chance for a run later in the game. 20 points is going to be a lot to make up once Edey is back in. Now I’m just hoping we show some fight and make it respectable. Need to get a little confidence goin…
