Every freaking game it's the same thing. Slow and seemingly inept in the first half, then decide to turn it on in the second. Why oh why can't they just play the way they usually do in the second half for an entire game?

PSU has 3 seniors and 5 five-year seniors. They are able to stick to a game plan. You aren't going to rattle them. They are going to make good decisions, and take advantage of our bad ones. They are a tough out for a much younger less experienced team.

PSU just seems to cut and move without the ball much harder and with purpose. We tend to pass it, then stand, or just casually jog to the other side of the court.

PSU is open because they are busting their a** to create separation and run hard off of screens.

We have shot 12 3's and only made 3. We never have figured out we shoot well from 2. Why jack-up a 3 with 15 seconds left on the clock. Run plays and get some close shots

Most of their players can hit an open jumper. Not all of our guys shoot it well because we take tougher shots.

PSU shooting 67% vs. 35% for us.

Ball movement and shot quality are hugely different. A racehorse in his stall is just as fast as the plow horse...and Penn St will not let the Illini run. We have a height advantage, but Hawk and Mayer will not take advantage and DD wants to shoot offhand hook shots. Might as well fire up 35 footers.
