If I had to guess, BU is electing to go with more size vs the ultra small lineup that PSU put out there.
The lineup that finished the first half should start the 2nd and primarily be the lineup that plays majority of 2nd half. Period

I think the Illini lads are tired of letting psu impose their will on this game and I expect A BIG SECOND HALF by the Illini.....
And yes , keep cohawk down low and let him eat.....feed him constantly till cohawk arms get tired from making those turn arounds in the paint..........
I saw an ILLINI team in the BEAST mode those last 5-6 minutes with smothering D and numerous blocked shots .......Keep it up boys and work the ball down low .....3 pointers be damned......

Not trying to be negative, but I think he will be pushed around by stronger bodies and he already complains too much.
When is the last "good" 3 point shooting game we had? We should be due for one just by accident, but it's the same results every night.
Don’t know if he can do that in the lane in the NBA but he sure as heck can vs PennState. I like Hawk and MM in the lane vs the smaller PSU guys. If Dain hits those lay ups we are up

Limiting Pickett to 3 is a pretty significant change from the first 2 PSU games. He'd have to go off for over 28 in the 2H to maintain his average against us.

I'll take being down by 1. Hawk has gotta post up every single possession. They can't handle him. We also need to continue to speed this game up. They can't run with us and we can't let them get into their set and get hot from outside. We've done an excellent job shutting down Pickett. Now gotta keep Lundy off the glass, getting easy baskets. There are moments when we look absolutely inept, then suddenly our defense clicks into place, we're out in transition, and it seems like we're world-beaters. It's so frustrating that we've never been able to put together a complete 40 minutes, but right now we just need a decent 20 to finally slay this PSU team and advance. Get it done.
