If that is true that RJ is gone, I do count that one as a huge loss and a massive bummer.

I mean, sure - there will be an improvement if for no other reason than everyone will have a legitimate offseason together and another year to gel. However, I think what we need is older guys who have bought in AND been here when we were winning conference championships (Goode, Hawkins, HOPEFULLY Melendez) getting the other guys to truly believe that we SHOULD be winning when times get tough. Shannon might be my favorite player we have, but all he's ever known here is a #9 seed, unranked team that had no REAL shot at hanging a conference banner and lost in the First Round. We could easily take a huge leap forward next year without RJ, but it would have been really nice to have him.
RJ is gone. Just a matter of time before the announcement.
Isn't it ironic that right when players are allowed to sell apparel, is the same time it's foolish to buy said apparel. Given that they come and go so easily.

I've got to say I am really starting to worry about all these transfers out. Michigan St, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Purdue still all have none according to the Sports Illustrated portal tracker. Only Minnesota and Penn St have more than us if RJ does leave.

They want more NIL money.
They are being recruited over; don't fit into plans.
They are homesick; want a different environment.
They don't fit into the offense and / or defense.

The opinion is not an opinion. Eventually they will both go if healthy. Whether or not it is now or later remains to be seen. I hope they come back just like you do. I have been a fan much longer than you have and DO have a right to my own opinion.

The possibility of Coleman and TJ coming back are higher than they have ever been. TJs mom might’ve prematurely leaked some stuff as well. Not saying it’s a done deal or will happen but $ talks. Brads A ok if the only guys who return are Goode, Ty, RJ along with Coleman and TJ and the incoming freshman
Tells me that Brad was hoping to keep RJ. Replacing his production in the portal will be easy. I think he is a real loss from a chemistry perspective though. One of our few remaining pieces from the BIG championship team. A real blow to the everyday guys. Sorry to see him go.
