How about the cheap shot the kid took at Coach Underwood and our program? To me, that's a bad look for the player. It demonstrates emotional immaturity. Best to keep those feelings to oneself. If he struggles adjusting to the next level; will he blame it on coaching?

Anyone defending this staff by claiming Podz didn’t have what it takes to play here is the Baghdad Bob of messageboards.

Podz lead the WCC in rebounding as a 6’5 guard. I’m certain that a guard, who leads his league in rebounding, is tough enough to play at Illinois. Why Underwood couldn’t see that will be one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

But cheese is from Wisconsin. Podz is from Wisconsin, too. Perhaps we can all agree that cheese is tastiest when properly matured, and perhaps Podz is maturing, too. Win-win.
