i live in Peoria, an illinois fan and bradley season ticket holder. would be all illini in any match up.
here's my idea: what if there was an annual "secret scrimmage" fund raiser for any charity the
coaches/schools choose that rotated between locations and sold $100 and up tickets maybe with
some silent auction action. NCAA ok with this, don't know, and in this era, don't care!

i would love to see Goode develop a big ten all-around game with his size.
Develop a post game, mid range game along with the high percentage
3 pointer. might need to be 220-230 lb.? asking too much? is what im
describing an NBA player?
Highly improbable that Goode is going to be "developing" a post (mid-range) game during his Junior year. I think we've probably now seen 90% of what's he's got in the repertoire.

(NOTE: Mulcahy, on the other hand, has a really nice post game!)

C'mon, now. The die is definitely not cast wrt Goode. He lost most of last season. He's got ~1.25 years under his belt and 80% of that was as a true frosh. Limited tick on BIG title team.

Mulcahy has 4 years under his belt. He's massively since his soph year. Also, he played a ton more minutes than Goode at a similar stage.

Totally unrelated but I'll add this here. Sorry if it is reported elsewhere (I haven't seen it). Former Illini great All American Paul Judson passed away this weekend at the age of 89. He and twin brother, Phil, played on teams that went 31-7 in B10 play in the early 50s. Their high school team, Hebron, was the smallest Illinois high school to win the single class state tourney in 1952. Phil was Rob Judson's dad. They played with Bill Altenberger, among others, on those Illinois teams. Bill is the father of Doug.

This is wildly off-topic, but today I have a going-away event for a friend who is leaving to go take a job at Ohio State. So I am going to pinch my nose and wear a Michigan shirt to the event in protest. It may burn my skin a bit but less so than it will chap his !!! (since he's also an OSU grad).

Don't worry, I will wear my Muck Fichigan shirt under it as a barrier so I won't be permanently disfigured.

How do you have a Michigan shirt? 🤔

It's a little depressing that wearing an Illini shirt wouldn't troll him enough.

I'm not sure where to put this...

Another Illini rule? Sure feels like it after last year...

"Officials will be able to review goaltending/basket interference calls during the next media timeout to ensure the calls were accurate, as long as the official calls it on the floor."

Some other interesting ones:

"A timeout will be able to be granted when a player has possession of the ball even though the player is airborne. (An example would be a player grabbing a loose ball and calling timeout before landing out of bounds."

"Under two minutes, when a coach requests an out-of-bounds play be reviewed, that team will be charged a timeout if the original call is not overturned."

And I didn't know about this:

"To continue the experimental rule with the standard media timeout format in the second half (first dead ball under 17 minutes, 14, 11, eight and four) for any interested conference, as well as in the National Invitation Tournament."

I hope the Big Ten never adds a media timeout.

You know they will if there are dollars to be made.

Also change charge block and players can wear any number from 0-99
