Would love to get him, but this looks like a longshot if all of these schools go after him hard.
I feel like only Notre Dame and Michigan on that list outside of us can promise him significant playing time as a starter. And we're a better fit for the the team we have built around pg than those 2
Then what’s our sell in your view? To me, main appeal would be NIL. He already had starting job in Piscataway and a good coach

We’ll get a scholarship open if certain guys want to come … It will never be an issue …
I have very low expectations of him choosing us, personally. Just don’t see it.
Pretty impressive, actually. I've never seen a bad word about the guy.
So temper expectations. That list is no joke.
So is all forgiven for the RayJ situation if this shakes out in the long run or are we still wanting a new coach?

This feels like one of the most important recruitments for Brad’s career at Illinois. The odds don’t seem favorable given who we’re up against but we have so much to sell.
Can't remember the last time a big name like this entered the portal this late. Any idea of a timeline?
