Game Thread: Illinois vs Toledo

Something is not right with this defense. Doesn't look the same at all. very little pressure and guys are getting pushed back.

I'm really not liking seeing Toledo picking up 3rd and shorts by running right at us between the tackles. In theory, that should be like bashing your head against a wall.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but these refs are looking to throw flags on Illinois. Even that non-penalty call was ridiculous that there was even a flag thrown.

Know the god damn rules please.

The most important play of the game so far, was the unsportsmanlike penalty on T Barnes. Why they never showed a replay is beyond me. It honestly changed the momentum of the whole game.

If you recall, we did not put much pressure on during the first couple games and then we turned it up after the Indiana loss. I remember thinking at one point that our lack of pressure was a big concern, and then it obviously wasn't.
