McCray, nice run.
I wouldn’t mind seeing them getting McCray on the edges. He slipped on one early when they got him out there, but I guarantee you those DB’s don’t want too much of that.

This team is really hard to figure out. They look so unprepared for every game and basically do nothing for a quarter before waking up.

Leg was down, elbow was down, forward progress had stopped, and Luke was making absolutely no attempt to continue the play. Pretty insane that wasn't a flag in my opinion.
But the refs didn’t stop the play. So, it’s pretty insane the play wasn’t stopped.

Yeah thought played better last year too...not sure what the deal is with him and the other returning lineman?
Hope he figures it out. I really like him and his family is so nice.

I’m sorry, but that was a good call. We can’t ask for him to use Williams more and then complain when he calls a play that 75% of offenses use. The blocking was terrible on the outside.
Sure it's a good call, if your offense can delay penetration and seal the edge on the sideline where the sweep is directed. The Illini have been ineffective in doing both all season, especially near the goal line. Williams can run this well if given a chance, but Lunney should have known it was a low percentage play based on how long a deep sweep takes to develop and how terrible our blocking has been all season.

Lunney if you are watching this how you play call an offense.

Do they not stop the play clock in college ball when the player runs out of bounds?
