Smart, unselfish, hard-nosed basketball. That’s the difference between having a team full of upperclassmen and one dependent on freshmen. This team is going to be easy to love.
I understand it was an exhibition game against Ottawa. But, I’m excited about THE WAY we won.
Team chemistry looked better today than it ever did last year. So much less selfish play, so much more making the right play. Guys playing for each other, great shot selection, getting to loose balls, diving on the floor, creating opportunities for teammates, not pouting.
This team looks SO much more mature than last year. We looked like a team with a strong CULTURE. We didn’t last year.
Last year’s team was the embodiment of Matthew Mayer. I really hope this year’s team is the embodiment of Marcus Domask.
Should be a fun year.

42 three attempts? My lord. Hope we're just getting that out of the way in the exhibition. Not sure I want to see anywhere near that number unless we're on fire.
Free throws still might be an issue. Ugh.
Still a very, very fun and extremely one-sided basketball game to watch outside of that.

Lot of things to be pleased with. Team seems much less frantic than last year, unselfish, hustled. Seem to enjoy playing together, which is great to see. Only concerns are still too many threes, free throws, and - to me - Dain's inability to catch and hold on to the ball. But, overall, a lot to be optimistic about.

I got complaints, but none worth letting spoil the overall feel goods.
I could see DGL being a player every other team dislikes with his confidence and swagger. Also, salivating at Amani and Morez when they get to team up on the boards next year.
That Domask pickup was huge. Loved seeing him and Goode on the floor together also.
