Every year I root for the CFP committee to have to make the hardest possible choices when choosing the playoff. Unfortunately, almost every year the teams kind of sort themselves out and the decision ends up relatively easy for the committee. So hopefully in the final year of the 4 team playoff, we can get some true chaos....

-Michigan, tOSU, and PSU each finish with 1 loss by beating each other. But whoever gets to go to the B1G Championship loses to 1 loss Iowa.
-Tennessee beats Bama and Georgia, but loses to Bama in the SEC Championship. (while 1 loss Georgia is sitting at home)
-Oregon gets revenge on Washington in PAC12 Championship
-Texas gets revenge on OU in Big12 Championship

That would give you 8 teams with 1 loss, 2 teams who picked up their 2nd loss in the conference Championship game (while their foes sit at home with 1 loss), and a 2 loss SEC Champ in Alabama.

Sounds fun to me!

I don’t think I’ve seen Michigan play this year, but I have a hard time believing OSU can beat them with this QB. Maybe if Buckeyes are home for that game, their playmakers can pull it out.

Is it just me or is Drew Allar bad?
Isn't that good. Heck Altmyer sadly contributed way more to the Penn State offense than any Penn State player. Singleton is the only player was that good.

A 1-5 Virginia team just beat #10 undefeated UNC 😳

Virginia was a 24-point underdog going into tonight's game in Chapel Hill and only had one win all season and that was 2 weeks ago against an FCS school, William and Mary. Their last win over an FBS school came on this same weekend last year and that was at Georgia Tech. Also the first ever top 10 road win in the history of the Virginia football program.

Interesting because the kid never waved his arm above his head.

Frederik Gerhard Hendrik Meijer must be rolling over in his grave. Or maybe he’d be happy with the association. Hard to tell these days, really. 🤷🏼‍♂️

EIU defeated Bryant 25-24 in OT yesterday. QB Pierce Holley was the key to the Panthers victory once again, though yesterday it was a bit odd in that he scored all 3 Panthers TDs on the ground. Much like the homecoming game a couple weeks ago, each team scored a TD on their first possession of OT and once again the Panthers went for 2 with Holley scoring the conversion successfully on the ground, though they had to go to a replay review as it looked to be close as to whether he crossed the goal line.

With the win, the Panthers improve to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the Big South/OVC Football Association. Much like the Illini, EIU is also on a bye next week and returns to action November 4th at Lindenwood. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM and the game will air on ESPN+.
