He looked solid. Brought good energy to the floor on offense and defense, and made some nice passes and defensive plays. He will have to share time with a very loaded and deep MSU backcourt all season.
D-II Pace stuns Pitino-led St. John's in exhibition
St. John's lost an exhibition to Pace University, a Division II school, on Sunday. Pace led wire to wire in the 63-59 decision.

Carr is the real frosh Dude.
MSU without Walker would have been skunked by Tn. Tn looked good and will be a tough game .
And the starting PG is still recovering from an ACL tear in February and the 2 guard, who is also a ball handler is in Uruguay with his family because his grandma is really sick.
Knecht looks really good. The way he was used in that exhibition though tells me a lot about why he didn’t choose to come here.
Tennessee was also without two starters ...
MSU is the real deal. Their guards are extremely talented. Looks like another Izzo final four if they play to their potential. Tennessee looks good too.
The kid is uber athletic. Can absolutely fly.
