Goode is a lights out spot up shooter. Would like to see them get more looks for him.

After a game like this for Domask, Goode better be ready to shoot it because teams are going to realize they have to double. They didn't leave our perimeter players which is what allowed Domask to run wild in the midrange and inside. This is a game that sets up everyone for success

FAU is a really good team. I think a lot of people underestimate them. They are real. But we are realler 😁
FAU more than looked the part to me. I don't care at all about their loss to Bryant. Those types of games where the ball just doesn't go in happens even to the best of them. Those kids don't quit and are well coached. I could see them making another deep run in the tourney.

How do you underestimate a team returned 14 players who were in last years final four? Dominant win. Enjoy this for a night!
Easy, because they are FAU--not a "big" name. The times, they are a'changing. Armchair quarterbacks across the country look past them. I do not think coaches and players underestimate them.

So, So good. How about that defense!!! And Domask and Terrance were unbelievable. I usually hope at least ONE of our guys plays a great game offensively, but two at the same time?? Early Merry Christmas! Coleman was a stud and that last 3 he made was one of those nooooo, YES! Go Illini!

LET’S GOOOOO!!!!! Man, this team is fun to root for…infinitely more than last year’s team.

* Domask is a straight dog! We haven’t had a guy who can get a bucket like him in I don’t know how long.

* Shannon is the best all around Illini player in a long time. I said what I said.

* Hawkins is a bipolar player - spectacular and then maddening.

* Great minutes from role players.

* Tremendous coaching. Just kept exploiting mismatches all night.
Since way back in the Ayo days

You can tell Brad and the staff put in a lot of effort to construct this year's team in exactly the image he wanted. Tough, smart, hard working, and relentless, Junkyard defense, great ball movement, unselfish play, and good scoring (elite tonight). Everyday guys was a slogan last year. With this team, it's reality. Brad is much calmer and focused on the bench. No screaming at players or fart noises in postgame interviews. We are watching a special Illini team building a terrific resume while getting better each game. Special season in the making.
