Yeah, that win against FAU on a neutral court shows we are one of the best teams in the country. This year is up for grabs and we are as good as anyone in the country.

Probably. FAU’s win today should help us in the long run though. If it wasn’t for FAU’s inexplicable loss to Bryant, we’d have the best win of any team in the country.

Considering it was Casey Jocebsen, likely not. It would be the first positive thing he's had to say about the Illini in the last few years that I can remember.

Caleb Love is a good player, but that is why you don't want him on your team. Down by one, FAU has five guards on the floor and he takes an off balance 28 foot 3 pointer. All they had to do was get it inside at all and good things would have happed for them.

Possible but would hope beating them would hold more weight over a big win. Unimportant at this point of the season let's just win at Purdue and make it a eassy decision.

I agree, they have only beaten Wisconsin, an overrated duke and Alabama. They have a good resume but hardly a marquee win. They have lost to FAU and Purdue. Comparitively our loses are to just as highly touted teams while we sport a nice marquee win over the team that just beat them. Don’t think it will happen but it makes logical sense to me
