Refs putting on a show tonight thus far. B10 must have picked them up at a clown convention. They're something special.

I generally judge the refs on game flow. They're going to miss calls and when they do, the other team's fans think it's a great call. Nature of reffing an extremely fast game. For the most part, the game is moving right along.

Completely agree. I want refs who err on the side of no whistle, and are consistent. Expecting every call to be correct (through orange-tinted glasses) and being upset when they aren’t is like being upset at the team for not shooting 100% on FTs. It’s a choice you CAN make, but why?

I don't think they've been one-sided. I think they've been straight up incompetent. Big difference. Some of the calls they've made have been mind-boggling bad today.

The officiating rarely has a large effect in any given game. Most fanbases will use them as an excuse for when their team is playing horribly.
