I missed the Wisconsin-Nebraska game last night. Checked the score in 1H several times and Wisc was up 15-20. Saw the final score this morning.

Your comment, sir, was the POTD!

glad we don't have to play at nebraska this year
I understand the sentiment but I kinda wish we did but, of course, the Illini win. The Illini would probably be the only Big Ten team to beat them at Nebraska. They would do what WI and PU could not.

Sorry for the random comment, watching Bill Walton announcing USC/Oregon. Please tell me his broadcast career dissolves along with the Pac 12. On top of his typical buffoonery, he’s actively bashing the B1G on air and actually claimed our teams get in the tourney only because the Big Ten owns the media. Maybe he’s just grumpy that UCLA is in the toilet again. Loser.

I know Wisconsin has the easier schedule, but to me the clear answer is Wisconsin over Purdue. I don’t see Purdue losing again unless it’s @ Wisconsin or @ us. Purdue is the title favorite per Kenpom, and we’d rather not have other title contenders collect road wins.
Depends on what u care about. If u want a better NCAA seed Purdue beating Wisky is better. A big ten championship both need to lose multiple times

On the bolded note, PU and Wiscy play each other twice. So one of them will end up with at least four losses or both of them will end up with at least three.

Let's just assume we beat both of them. Then one of them ends up with at least five losses and the other ends up with at least three, in which case we need to win out for a share. Or, both end up with four losses and we are outright champions if we win out and could still get a share with one more loss.

In other words, we truly control our own destiny. If we win out, we're guaranteed at least a share of the title despite what happens with other teams.

If we win out and Purdue Illini tie. What is the tie break?
