Welp. I never wanna seem too cocky against Maryland cause they always have our number. So I’ll go in with low expectations
I've been saying that for four years now. Can this finally be that time?Payback time.
I thought when TSJ returned there would be a pronounced "us against the world" sort of attitude in the team, playing angry... an almost scowling seriousness where there would be no sh*t-talking the crowd after a made three, for example -- just all business.
And maybe behind the scenes that is the case. And I'm not saying they shouldn't have fun. And it may have been naive to expect that this sort of attitude would be palpable to fans, but I hope that's what you're referring to. I think that kind of chip-on-shoulderism could make a difference for this team.
(I like how TSJ is not attending press conferences, for example.)
Because yellow is an ugly color, so it drowns out orange. We have to dull that pee yellow down. Let me add a little bit of this:

Yeah. Normally I'd applaud a strident, almost defiant attitude in this kind of situation, which in this case would be something like flaunting TSJ's presence all up in the MFer. Granted, that would be in poor taste for many people, and unlikely. But still, I'm glad he's 100% doing his talking on the court.
