I don't think the explanation is that simple. We took more than 10 threes in a half in other games where we shot 30-35 free throws.

Iowa, to me, is a slightly better offensive team than our illini due to being a better shooting team. But only slightly.
On the other hand, neither team plays defense with a lockdown mentality. If Iowa shoots a decent percentage...they win.
If the Illini commit as a team to defend, they win. It is sad to me that this mentality is not present every night.

AH had a great run so Brad took him out. It’s what we do.
While him scoring would help, that's really not the solution this team needs right now.
I've said this year in and year out, but I just don't feel safe at all with Coleman dribbling. It almost seems like he's thinking too much about what he wants to do and he constantly double dribbles, travels, or turns it over.
He is a fantastic defender and a proven shooter. I just don't want him playmaking.

Amani showing he deserves every single second he's getting.
Rather see Amani pass on the 3 early in the clock. D looks a lil better since Harmon in over Goode.
