Domask defending a very quick PG in Hawkins is an interesting choice….(yes I’m aware TJ is on Christie now)

"Drop coverage" defense is some of the weakest $h!# I've seen. It's code for "no defensive coverage on high ball screens ". It's why the goofers are shooting 50% + from the field and are 7 -12 from 3 right now. And it's why basically every other team we've played since January (outside of Michigan (LOL)) has shot well against us, or gotten easy paint buckets. Dear lord can we pleaseee just switch to hedging the high ball screen! Please! We are a F4 team with this one simple change in defensive scheme..

Props to @NarrowJ in the pregame thread for throwing this out there as it has played out so far...

Prior to the loss at Nebraska they were on an incredible hot streak shooting the three as a team.

9-23
12-26
12-25
8-16
8-19

That's 10 makes per game at a 45% clip.

I want to know why we don't just stick with the pack line defense when every time we've used it the past few years our defense has improved? That should be our bread and butter.

Everyone wants to point at an assistant. Which if Brad is foolish enough to gamble the best offense he’ll ever put together in some no name assistant. Well…..
