This team is going to give me a heart attack.

Huge second half efforts from Dain and Harmon though. Domask with some good second half offensive as well down the stretch. Quincy played better tonight too which was good to see.

What’s so unique about this team is how versatile we can be. We can play big with Dain. Play strong and fast with our wings. Have a fast PG off the bench, etc. We can give teams a ton of different looks. That is the key to our success in March.

Lastly. Cam Christie, you have a spot on this team next year if you want it….kid can flat out shoot it. Jeez.

I'm honestly kind of sad Minnesota didn't get to 100. Has a Big Ten team ever scored 100+ in a Big Ten game and still lost.

Our rubber mallet got a workout this game. Them pesky varmints were poppin' up for shots all over the court.

Yep, I guess I’ll just enjoy the wins and not hold out hope for a return to form for this defense. Let’s just hope our shooting is on at the right time in the NCAA Tournament, because this offense really is something.

This was the last “bad loss” we could get in the regular season. Three GOLDEN opportunities coming up … let’s score our way to a #3 seed! 🤣
Maybe someone has explained it and I just missed it, but I don't understand what has happened. What changed in our defense that teams exploit us on that end of the court now? I enjoy seeing a great offensive game, but I think we were scarier when we were so tough to score on.

I went to Maryland-NW this evening. 29-24 at the half. I drive home after the game, look at my phone, and the Illini are up 48-45 at half.

lol. As someone noted in the game thread, defense only slightly more stringent than the NBA All-Star Game.

The offense is special. We'll take the W. It will be interesting to see what happens in Madison on Saturday. :illinois:
