But yeah, this one was a game to bet on for sure- the over and Minnesota losing by less than double digits looked really good statswise. Hope our Illini bettors though made bank on that.Harmon's D was special in half 2

I feel bad for the fans that let the fact that we’re good now get in the way of enjoying the hell out of entertaining game like that.
Reminds me of old Barkley. Booty dribble back into the lane, see if an opportunity to score exists, or pass to an open teammate.
I think that our fans are a little too focused on the NCAA Tournament and aren't enjoying the season.
That said, in a half court game in the Tournament.... we're going to have issues.
It'd be ironic if this played well in the tournament. LMU reached Elite status, I believe. LOL.
Gopher had NO defense against MD and that offensive strategy. MD to the left, back in and find open players or take it yourself. Unreal.

Well, our recent appearances in the tournament were more like Operation Don't Score, so at least we are trying something different?
They hit 3s some of them were open but a lot had a hand in their face in the first half.
I think sometimes the problem with our defense is the game has a good flow. The ball starts going in and then the shooters get hot for both teams. MD vs NW was low scoring because open shots were not going in. The threes missed in that game were similar to the ones Minnesota made
Would love to see more Dain and Coleman in together. Think it helps both offensively and defensively.

Illinois outrebounded Minnesota, outscored them heavily in the paint, and Minnesota shot 70% on jumpers for the game, which is insane. That is an insane number, and when you shoot 70% on jumpers, you win 99 times out of 100. Stanford did that against Arizona and blew them out, made them look silly. Minnesota...lost by 8 in a game that was never really a contest in the last 5 minutes.

Maybe they’re saving it for the tournament. Nerve wracking as a fan to watch at times though.
It's worked out quite well for bu with his subbing patterns tonight. I'd still like to see them play a little more, though, to give some guys rest.
Game by game. I lost all hope on DD a while ago, but lo' and behold, he's been playing a whole lot better--good for him!

Dear Lord. We dropped 35 spots in defensive efficiency on KenPom (from 60 to 95!). Worse than I thought. Now 3rd in offensive efficiency.
