Kid can really shoot ... Has a great attitude ... Willing to accept his role ... Doesn't kill us in the NIL salary cap ...

He can come off the bench ... Make open shots ... Make hustle plays ... Give 100% effort ... Never an issue academically or off the court ...

Can't have a team full of superstars ... He's a glue guy ...
I'm in...the intangible stuff can never be overlooked. At 6'6" he provides some size as well. I trust the staff on this one and I like the get.

I think the main risk next year is to have 3-4 new starters at the same time. It takes time to find their user manuals.
I think that's why Underwood seems to be looking for a mix of stars and role players.

We can afford Reynaud and Storr both if we want to. The other transfers would be good, but more role player types. Coleman and Marcus both are still slightly up in the air as well
I truly question whether NBA teams are going to draft him. He has been showing late 2nd round and if he has a knee issue gotta think that will also hurt his position possibly. I would love to have him and MD back again.

Looks to be a High iq floor spacer. Complete opposite of RJ Melendez just sitting in the corner

Agreed. I love CoHawk and his contributions to our team, but I cannot see the NBA player angle. I can see him having a profitable career overseas, though.

It was me ...

I don't have a problem with the kid ... I like the kid ... Kid can really shoot it ... Makes winning plays ...

My problem was having to rely on him ... I have been assured we will not be ...

Glue guy ...
when I saw your post about that, I was a bit surprised, but it makes a lot more sense if you were thinking they might bring him in to be a starter or something like that. I assume the key for this guy will be to ensure he isn't a major liability defensively when he comes in.

Really good 3 point shooter and can shoot it on the run. To me he's an upgraded version of Goode that doesn't have to be set when he shoots like Luke does. Will be a really good role player for years to come with 3 years left. Will be the smallest name we add, but could be sneaky important
When he's not fouling every possession Goode is a strong and versatile defender (and an underrated rebounder).

Jake Davis is at Mercer in the first place rather than a higher level because of questions about whether he can guard anybody.

I trust that the staff feels he can hack it at this level or they wouldn't be offering. But IF he can become a non-liability that way, when I look at his highlights I see a shooter that fits right in our offense and could develop into a serious weapon at the offensive end. Very good looking quick release on that jumper and high level craft in finding ways to launch it.

Goode will be a senior and Davis a sophomore experiencing high major basketball for the first time. We will see far more of Goode next year. But I like Davis' potential.
