Illinois 31, Nebraska 24 OT Postgame

[Thaillini22]

I <heart> Bret

[FloridaMan]

Wow! Great team win! I thought we were too conservative at the end of regulation but coaches and players knew what they were doing. Big, big steps for the program!

[Juju]

I have mainly been lurking on here for years upon years, but I logged in specifically to post this pic I took of my TV showing the replay of the sack that won the game and how we left Raiola.

[TheGMan]

Gardner certainly made an interesting suit choice

[Navy_illini]

It’s nice being able to enjoy the weekend
Got kids baseball watch some college football and hope my fantasy football team does well. Looking forward to the weekend

[IllinoisssssssVarsity]

Clear flop...

Clearly out of bounds, no need for any contact

[EyeoftheIllini]

I don’t watch as much football as many on here seem to, but I can’t remember such a dominant first OT. From Feagin’s big run to Rosiek’s sack, Illini dominated.

[purcy51]

Can't wait for Robert's "From the Stands"

[OskieWowWow]

Bielema is a goddamned miracle worker for turning our loser program drawing 30,000 a game into a winning team that will get close to selling out the rest of the year

Illinois Football.

Graphic, violent, and with no remorse.

Have we entered a golden age in Illini atheltics?

Hey, I know you got the skills. How about photoshopping a block I onto that dudes hat before you post?!?!?!?!?

[Old.Edgy]

Over the last few years I've felt good about Bret, but actually a tad disappointed at times in some of the coaching. But I wonder if here in year 4 he hasn't finally created the culture needed to win games like this. Maybe we've truly turned the corner.

He's also been getting better horses ... better studs...

[Flyin' Illini]

Gardner certainly made an interesting suit choice

One might say "choices," plural.

[IlliniKat91]

Henry is just a different coach this year.

It's great to see someone learn from the past

[The Galloping Ghost]

Pretty darn nice to be able to sit back tomorrow and just hope for upsets so we move up in the rankings.

[Battle89]

Poor 400th sellout.....

Never heard the sound of 90,000 souls crushed before

[SoCal Illini]

Let's be real he's legit and going to be an absolute superstar but we definitely showed he's got some growing to do before we start anointing him as the best right now.

If people keep telling him how great he is before he actually does anything, he might not. That’s Nebraska’s story tonight.

[Ryllini]

4-0!

[purcy51]

I think the 1st road game curse is behind us

[mhuml32]

So many guys had themselves a day.

There will be no Lunney blasphemy accepted from anyone, ever.

Signature, updated.

Nice game plan on both sides. Line did enough with good protection and 4.3 per carry.

[Mr. Tibbs]

Clearly out of bounds, no need for any contact

you can bet BB is telling the whole team about no taunting & hitting out of bounds for no reason like that

[Ryllini]

Never heard the sound of 90,000 souls crushed before

You could hear a mouse rip !!! in there.

Henry is just a different coach this year.

I know personnel matters and the massive turnover mattered last year. But still, it looks like a lot of things are going different. Thank goodness. Glad Bret stuck it out.

Again the damn score is wrong. Two weeks in a row.
