Probably needed this. Hopefully this hardens the team. Good wake up call for the young and new guys. This is serious basketball.

Some good plays. At times you could see the vision. Raw talent - yes. But effort needs to be increased 1000%. Too much walking, not getting back on defense. I get it, it’s an exhibition. But too many 1:1 takes. Not enough passing. Too much dribbling. Too many just terrible passes. And for goodness sakes, where is the 3pt defense?!

Random thoughts:

I thought KJ would be more athletic and a little more polished. I'm a bit surprised there.

I know the game was pretty much made up of hockey line changes, but I'm wondering who the primary ball handler.

I'm not sure what else they can do, but Tomi needs to be there from game 1.

Where was Ty? Is there any thought that he's going to be buried a little deeper in the bench?

Hopefully they’ll watch video of how they all stand around watching the ball handler like some teams in past years did. Gotta keep moving without the ball.

We knew it from some of Brad’s comments thus far — team really needs to work on D. Almost seems like D deficiencies have impacted offense from the standpoint that it looked like they had never gone against good defense, active hands and guys helping out.

Still a lot of good things to build on. KJ and Tomi are as advertised, but KJ needs to work on ball security. Morez is going to be a beast. DGL looked very good. Think Riley needs to embrace an Adam Miller type role initially until game slows down for him some. Just about everyone showed some positives and talent is there. Just need to put in the work, up the effort, and show they understand everyday guys just isn’t a cute motto.

Until the UConn game, we didn’t lose by more than 10 last year. We were spoiled.

So many TO’s, missed FT’s, and little D. Got run out of the stadium by the projected 9th best SEC team.

I see our talent, potential, and remain high on this team. Disappointed by the lack of a leader to settle the team down and limit TO’s. Brad, run’em!

TY --- BU already knows what he's got in Ty.

I was impressed with our center play. Ivisic looked really good, and seems to be a better rim protector than advertised. And, when Morez gets used to the team and the pace, he will be a stud. I was also impressed with DGL, and I'm happy for him to have a good game. KJ seemed to struggle with the physicality, and his passing maybe needs to be a bit more crisp. I was not impressed with White, Rodgers, and Hum. There's a lot to improve on, just an exhibition. BU will get us there. I was impressed with Ole Miss - if they are the 9th best SEC team, that league will be brutal.
