One of my coworkers went to Tennessee, so I hope we play A&M or someone else instead in the Citrus or ReliaQuest Bowl

Thinking about B1G bowls, we really need to have non-CFP bowls in California and Texas too. Gotta have a presence in the good recruiting states and areas where Midwesterners retire to.

I'm a 15 year Orlando resident who's been waiting for us to be good enough to make a Citrus Bowl...and this year I have to tickets to the Winter Classic. šŸ˜–
Aw buddy, that's a tough one. Feel for you.

Why? Is it because you like your coworker so much that you don’t want to beat their team?

Good point, Dan. Ignore the scheduling problem and let Illinois play in each Big Ten Bowl tie-in.

Possibly a hot take but I would rather play Tennessee than South Carolina in a bowl. Both have insane pass rushing units, but I see a greater likelihood that UTK's pass rushers sitting out for the draft while South Carolina's guys would likely play.

I selfishly want the Citrus Bowl because my 5 year old loves Cheez-Its and I'm hopeful that sponsorship might be just the opening I need to wrangle control of the TV.
Or you can buy a bunch of boxes of Cheez-Its and you and your 5 year old can munch on them while watching the game.

I would love to have the opportunity to get blown out by a top tier SEC team in the Citrus bowl or Reliaquest Bowl.
If they're a top tier SEC team, it's likely most of their good players won't even play...making a blowout less likely.

Wrong. You actually need the opportunity for a full year of "braggin' rights" !!

What are the ā€œceilingsā€? Win both: CFP or Citrus. Win one: Reliacooter Lose both: Mayo or SnoopDogg bowl

You have a 5 year old, the Illini would be playing in Orlando, and you're planning to watch from home? :)

If Indiana loses to Ohio State by a big margin, say 42 points, and then follows that up with a narrow win at Purdue, are they still in the playoffs?
