Don't really care much about these games, but I hope the Cornhuskers win and the Wolverines actually beat their opponent Purple.

We'll really see how good Indiana is next Saturday. They haven't played a ranked team all season. They've had a few games where the opponent has just fallen apart (Nebraska). They scraped by Michigan at home yesterday.

I've equated Indiana and Iowa State a lot this season, and Iowa State finally came back to Earth. I'm withholding judgment on IU until after they play Ohio State.

I agree.
But, I'd love to see Ohio State get another loss! can't stand them. Hopefully get them out of the playoffs

Our Illini has a big game this weekend, 50/50 chance of winning. If we win, we have a fair chance of a 10 win season!

Crazy year in the Big 18

If OSU gets knocked out of the playoff, they likely take our bowl slot. Let em play and get knocked out early.

The only way OSU is left out of playoff is if they lose to Michigan and Indiana. I think a 10-2 OSU is a virtual lock, as is 11-2. I think IU is the only team that could get knocked out of playoff contention among the B1G top 4.

Other than their record and headlines I haven't followed much of Indiana football this year. Is the huge improvement just coaching or did they bring in a bunch of talent as well? As far as B1G schedules go it was pretty soft but they are beating teams by a good margin.

IU nearly 2-TD 'dogs in Columbus this Saturday. 👀

IIRC, Cignetti brought ~ 15-20 players from JMU with him and ~ a dozen of those start at IU. They're talented and know his system. And he raked the portal pretty well. His QB was MAC MVP at Ohio U two seasons ago. Dude tore his ACL at the end of that season but has lit it up for IU this year.

As the spread indicates, Vegas doesn't think much of them on the road v. OSU.

Let's not do anything that changes 3 SEC teams starting on the road. Want them all to play in the cold (well colder than their usual anyway).

I will be rooting hard for NW next week against Michigan. UM is 5-5 and plays OSU in two weeks, so a loss on Saturday basically guarantees a losing season and no bowl game for them.
Plus if we beat Rutgers and NU wins, my pipe dream of getting on a decent channel for the Wrigley game stays alive (remember that two fairly enticing Big Ten matchups in Wisconsin/Minnesota and Iowa/Nebraska are on Friday, so there is a bit more room)!

Nebraska Wisconsin a sneaky big game for the trajectory of both programs.

Both have 5 wins. Nebraska plays at Iowa next and Wisconsin hosts Minnesota, both tough games and I would say likely losses. Each probably needs this one to go bowling.

For Nebraska, I think Rhule has definitely raised the level of play, but does there start to be some handwringing if he can’t get to a bowl 2 years in a row?

Fickell was brought in to raise the ceiling, so 12-13 after 2 seasons would be underwhelming to say the least. Plus I think Wisconsin has a bowl streak of almost 20 years. But does he get a free pass because he lost his QB?

Will keep my eye on that one.

So, we want Nebraska to beat Wisconsin and Iowa and Minnesota to beat Wisconsin.

The Loosiers will be brought back down to reality tomorrow and be kicked out of the Playoffs. The line is now -10...
I'm hoping for a 20+ point blowout
