So, while celebrating a phenomenal 9-3 season, I can’t help but wonder: if we had won the Minnesota game and finished 10-2, could we make the playoffs? Likely not? It’s oddly comforting to think the answer is no...
Aidan bleeping Laughery!!!...PB also ties AJ Jenkins for 3rd in career receiving TDs.
Happy to be 9-3! And a lot of “but what if’s…” combined with “but, thank god that…” feelings.

Take comfort in this:
Statistically, we’re closer to a 6 win team than we are a 10 win team.
9 wins was just about a best case scenario for us this year.

Focusing on the positives. Aiden L great game! Pat Bryant is an Illini legend! 9-3 is a wildly successful year, and hopefully BB can turn it into recruiting success to further build what he has been able to do with 3 star players. We are in line for a great bowl game!!! Fantastic year, Illini!!
From the department of redundancy department, our defense is not good. Thank God NW turned the ball over non stop today. BB gotta reevaluate that side of the ball this offseason, big time. To give up over 400 yards to NW when they have 4 turnovers? Why not blitz a team like this until (if) they burn you?
