The refs are terrible.
"Rivalry" games can be tough to ref because there's what you want and what you want to avoid. You want guys to be allowed to be physical, play hard, etc, but you want to keep it so that it doesn't get past aggressive. Morez getting suplexed was probably a tipping point.
Illini letting Mizzery and refs dictate play.

How many games in a row are we going to miss a wide open look to push the lead into double digits.

wow, we can't go 10 seconds with out committing a foul but Mizz can't do anything to get called for a foul...

ESPN gave them the directive to keep the game close at all costs. That is really all I can come up with.
This is ugly. The chances of someone getting an injury are way higher because of Mizzous style and these refs losing control
These announcers… if you weren’t watching the game you would think IL was literally assaulting Miznoz players
If we're going to reach the heights that we hope this team can achieve, those makes need to come in bunches.
Rez got hosed on some of these calls, I can’t believe the didn’t review rez getting thrown to the ground, we have been called for 6 fouls and mizzou 2 this half. There, got it straight. Terrible
Why did our guy taking an elbow to the neck area not even necessitate a review? If it turns out it's not a flagrant, fine, but you can't just arbitrarily decide when to review or not review hits to the head area.
Still hate facing Tony Perkins too
Moving screen, foul on...Riley? Sheesh. Is high knees hitting himself in the head?
