After watching the bowl games. The Big Ten showed up. I would be interested to see where Illinois ends up ranked but we should have been in the conversation on teams that should have been considered for the playoffs. 3 loses for the year (2 being against the 2 of the best teams in the country)
Today our o line opened holes I have not seen all year. Our coach understood how the other team liked to double sub to create an advantage and our defense counter it. I disagree with the announcers if the offense tries to sub while the defense subs you have to give the defense time. South Carolina knew what they were doing and BB countered it. BB knows football

Lost in all this was that wave of substitutions that forced Beamer to take a timeout. One less timeout allowed us to run out the clock precisely. Well played, Coach! Well played.
They literally made that call just thinking oh we'll go and review it as opposed to saying you make the call according to what you saw because you won't always have video to overturn it. There is no way on God's green earth anyone saw a fumble on that play with their own eyes.

When Bielema came on the field to check on an injured Illini player near the SC bench, he gave the substitution signal in Beamer's direction. He knew that Beamer was mad, and Bielema wound him up.What set off Beamer, i missed it? Could someone give the devil's advocate's position please?
Given how Beamer was acting all game long, I don't really have a lot of sympathy.
This broadcasting team had the SC QB in the College Hall of Fame. I thought he stunk.
