Recent studies show that 87% of Bird Poop in populated areas falls on people’s cars.

This one is actually believable.
I propose mandatory diapers for all birds in the Western Hemisphere. (Just thinking out loud here.)

Congrats to SH! He started today too. Glad to see he’s getting opportunities to do big things.

0 for 25 from three. How is that possible. And yet he is 13 of 15 from the free throw line after shooting 20% with us. Crazy.
Now 0-26 from 3. Glad wvu is doing well but I don’t see any minutes on 24-25 Illinois team for non shooting guard

Any known reason Hansberry didn’t play at Kansas? Also devries didn’t play.

Looking at Adam Miller with AZ State leaves me wondering about his career path. Although his shooting is pretty good, his overall numbers, 9.7, 3, 2.4 are probably unlikely to provide a path to the NBA. So, is his talent level just not there? Would he be a star if he had never left the Illini? I'm just wondering if there is consensus on here as to what went wrong for him.

Ankle injury...supposedly not long term issue.

Pretty bizarre game for Kansas to lose...

He missed the entire 2021-22 season due to injury. Tore his ACL. It's possible that had a bigger impact than his transfer away from the Illini.

He had a great couple of games with Illinois and lost his shoot as the season went on… was an average shooter at best as the season wore on
34% from 3 as a freshman is pretty good. Trent shot 33% in his super senior season. TSJ shot 26% from 3 as a freshman. Miller's problem with us wasn't shooting, it was driving. Tearing an ACL was probably not great for developing that skill.

Miller’s inability to score near the rim was an issue and I agree his injury likely had much more of an impact than leaving Illinois. But what the original poster wrote is pretty accurate. If you take away his first two games like he mentions, Miller did shoot only 31.4%. Last 11 regular regular season games shot only 28% from 3. Hit 30.7% in B1G tourney, but hit 50% in NCAA. That 31.4% mentioned above was also on par with his 3 point shooting over his second and third years.

I actually think the other post you replied to on Miller was more “inaccurate.” That one categorized 45.7% from 3 as “pretty good.” So while his counting stat numbers aren’t great, if he can keep shooting like that he could well have a path to NBA. Certainly not likely, but NBA wants shooters. No idea how rest of his game has or has not developed.
