All things considered (meaning no KJ) maybe the most impressive half the Illini have played this year. Kudos to Ben for stepping up in a big way.
Clearly, KJ was holding him back/s (just to be clear)😂

Normally, I'd complain about too many three-point attempts, but a lot of them have been within the flow of the game and great looks--can't pass those shots up.

Take the ball to the whole, WR, although your three-point shot looks better with more touch, than before.

You're trying to find a silver lining with him right now and there isn't one. Of all of his shots, only one was on line. The real silver lining will be if we can somehow continue this, he should get a lot of minutes to see if he can see a couple go in. Right now, everything looks too fast for him.

Everyone not named Ben Humrichous, is 1-13 from 3. Horrible way to play imo.. I haven't liked it all year.

Ultimately Morez/family make their own decisions and Illinois/BU have to make it an obvious decision.

Core group +Ty minus KJ/Ben would look very good next year. Riley should return, not NBA ready and college ball experience much better than G league IMHO.

Ben and Tre serious offensive skills on display in that 1st half. Keep it rolling and put this thing away early in 2nd half

What can I say about the defense. It has been superb. Drop coverage has been perfect, our close outs have been off the charts(your forgiven Will), and they are only getting 1 shot.

Boswell took two ill advised threes at the end of the half, but outside of that....quality looks across the board.

I've been a major detractor of Ben all year but lately he's been much better and today is superman out there. Perhaps coming from an inferior league he needed time to adjust to the better athletes and faster pace of major D1 level- I hope so and that he can give us 10-12 Pts and 6 rebounds/game and play solid D for the rest of the year like he has this half.

Boswell handling the ball, steady, tough as nails, and a really nice finish on the last possession with the left hand off of two feet. Morez is a Beast!
