Ultimately Morez/family make their own decisions and Illinois/BU have to make it an obvious decision.

Core group +Ty minus KJ/Ben would look very good next year. Riley should return, not NBA ready and college ball experience much better than G league IMHO.
I’d be surprised if Ty is back next year.

Outside of Tre White and Ben, we've only scored 14 points.

Still two-thirds of what Penn State has
That would be too close to the 15-17 halftime score in 2009

Perfect situation to play Will extended minutes in second half to try and get going.
Right, I'm hoping for this since his season averages still look awesome: Leads IL in PPM=Points Per Min, 35% on 3s (same as Ben), 3rd in assists per min behind KJ and Boswell, etc.

You're trying to find a silver lining with him right now and there isn't one. Of all of his shots, only one was on line. The real silver lining will be if we can somehow continue this, he should get a lot of minutes to see if he can see a couple go in. Right now, everything looks too fast for him.
I agree about the game being too fast for him. His improvement will begin in stages, and for me, having a smoother stroke is a mini-victory for me because it will lead to more 3-pointers made. Once that happens, his confidence will grow. And who knows?

Although he had his shot blocked into oblivion out of nowhere, I did like how WR took the ball to the whole. He needs to do more of that because I think he can be good around the rim.

Everyone not named Ben Humrichous, is 1-13 from 3. Horrible way to play imo.. I haven't liked it all year.
There are times when I might agree with this take, but you have to consider the quality of the shots. Most of the threes they have missed tonight have been great looks. The shots aren't going down, but they have been good shots.

You may want to pick a different team to watch then. It ain't changing.
While I can't disagree with his take on our offensive philosophy, I agree with you.....this is who we're going to be, so just as well roll with it.

What bothers me about it is we don't function well down the stretch. What I like about it is we can put up points in bunches.

Let's see where it leads us!

Yeah this is the new way of playing. I trust Brad with the style. I think we can all agree there are a few threes every game that you wish we didn’t take but glad they feel confident to take them and Brad has instilled that confidence in them. Lay ups and 3s is what we will see all year.

I actually think this has been Will’s best game in last 4, excluding Chicago St. Shot isn’t falling, but played better in all other areas.
