Question? Did Ace Baldwin injure himself flopping on the first play of the game? Ain't karma a !!!!!??
Maybe, is that a flip/flop?Question? Did Ace Baldwin injure himself flopping on the first play of the game? Ain't karma a !!!!!??
Not at all. Few people at least including me have mentioned it. Hopefully being aggressive in other areas will get him in a rhythm and work like it has for Ben. This was first game in last few where I felt he’s getting close.Am I the crazy one for saying Will played really well tonight?? 7/6/6 & 2 blocks, 1 steal..
He did play well, but his shots just aren't falling. BU's history (most recently with Ben) shows that Will will continue to be encouraged to shoot it. He had a few wide open looks tonight. I was really hoping that one or two would fall to boost his confidence. I love this team and we will need Will at some point. Not at all. Few people at least including me have mentioned it. Baldwin played it up, but Boswell totally discarded him with an elbow. I'm calling a foul there everytime.Question? Did Ace Baldwin injure himself flopping on the first play of the game? Ain't karma a !!!!!??
Devil’s advocate, was this poster accidentally dropped on his head as a young child?Devils advocate, are we better without KJ? Does he force too many shots?
Up to #7 on KenPom
Tre closest to TJ in athletic ability and adapted to role. May be the closer in the long term. This is a Tre White appreciation post!
I am have just been so pleasantly surprised how easy he makes it look to get to the basket.
He reminds me of a less athletic Larry Bird wait scratch that.
He reminds me of Terrence Shannon a bit, without the 3 point shooting and fast breaks. Anyone one else get that feeling?
John Wilkes is a more popular Booth in Illinois right nowCarey Booth is soooooo checked outsorry bud
They stopped evrything PSU tried. When Brad had the lineup/match-ups and went with the switching man on the perimeter, it was impenetrable. It appears to me that is the defensive wrinkle s he uses instead of going zone. The defense part is what has me convinced this could be a special team. High octane offenses sputter at times but defense travels. The fact that this team seems to be excelling on both sides of the ball is a potential differentiator from last year's squad.
On the replay, you could see Boswell's elbow hit Baldwin's chest. In the next couple frames, you could also see that it had no impact on Baldwin's chest. But Baldwin's head rocketed back. That ain't physics.Baldwin played it up, but Boswell totally discarded him with an elbow. I'm calling a foul there everytime.
Oy . . . Too many punches to the head . . .Devils advocate, are we better without KJ? Does he force too many shots?
Go back on your meds!I hate saying this and I hope I'm wrong, but I've had this nagging feeling I can't shake.
Will feels like a potential Podz trajectory to me in some ways.
Freshman year getting footing in a system that doesn't rely on your offense but demands defense. And playing against guys that can check you more than you've ever experienced.
Sophomore year, look for a role where you're a ball dominant scorer and can showcase your talents, even if it's against lesser competition, thereby catching NBA attention.
I'm hoping someone can tell me why I'm way off.
You are hereby dispelled of those anoying nagging thoughts. I hope you feel betterThanks for the honest responses. Like I say, it's an annoying nagging thought I've had and I don't have anyone else to talk to about it. I knew someone here could help me dispel it.
And just for the record I'm not hung up on Podz. I just noticed a few similarities, but I also knew I was probably looking at it wrong.
He was definitely the better shooter.John Wilkes is a more popular Booth in Illinois right now
I fully expected Rosenthal's research department to be @Fighter of the Nightman
Yep. He needs to improve his outside shooting to have a real chance though.Sneaky NBA future IMO. He is the best finisher on the team. He can play at the next level.
thanks for the post. I didn’t comb the box scores well enough it appears. How many times did we do it before 1980 and what players did it?
