We negate our early weekend home game advantage probably more than any team in the country consistently year to year. My guess is other teams getting in at a reasonable hour the night before, checking into the hotel, getting a good night sleep, while our guys are in their home environment and doing their thing. I'm not saying they're staying out drinking until 2:30 am, just that they're probably not just chilling and going to bed early like the visiting team. It's a consistent thing I've noticed in the Underwood era. So many "sleepy" starts. These games are always way worse than they should be on paper.
