So Underwood has said that one of the great things about college basketball are the rivalries. Yep when we play Miznoz and the Hoosiers he says it's "just another game." With IU... "1 of 20."

I get what he's saying but..... C'mon coach. We've had more talent than Missouri the last several years but our record against them doesn't show it. The same is arguably true about Indiana and yet we don't dominate them.

Stoked the rivalry and say. "Yeah we wanna beat the crap out of them."

I take responsibility for the USC fiasco. I had my nearly 50 year old Illini hat (signed by both Doug Altenberger and Rich Weiss) at my brother-in-law's house for the Citrus bowl, and inadvertently left it there. The basketball team of course cruised from there, and last week, I was going to call him to tell him to keep it in order to keep the mojo going. I forgot to call him. He found the hat and put it in the mail last Friday. We all know what happened from there.

Don’t take all the blame. I abandoned the beloved and hied off to the Caribbean and a ship with insufficient bandwidth to stream. And peacock… The good news is that there are enough Illini on this ship to start an alumni association club.
