no doubt, the last few games I've gone to, as a knower of basketball, I stand up and start cheering and clapping (thinking, this is a moment the team needs you, fans with bball IQ know to stand) and no one in my section stands. People around me almost look annoyed.
Shoot, Morez got that atrocious foul call against him (Maryland, when he got pulled down) and the crowd booed for a sec and just stopped. The old days, boos would've been deafening throughout the timeout, and would've continued as soon as Maryland inbounds the ball.
