The negative posters on here get more stupid on here daily, why can't you see a win and enjoy it.

Last game worried me a bit with our activity level but this game put it to rest for me. I will chalk it up to Illness rolling through guys as reported. Great bounce back to take Northwestern out of the game right away. Also did this with not great 3pt shooting again so continue to find ways to put up points. Will keep hoping for them to fall but until then keep crashing the boards and we can win any game.

Just curious, does KJ get a turnover for setting the ball down and Berry picking it up before the horn?
Hopefully the scorekeeper treats it as “offensive indifference”, but he probably does- regardless I thought it was cool- I’ve never seen a player just put the ball down and start shaking hands, it eliminates the need for standing there holding or dribbling it

Biggest positives from the game:
Much better collective energy and effort
Morez Johnson definitely redeemed himself from his last game against Maryland. He played very well.
KJ, Kylan, and Tre played much more under control and seemed to mostly let the game come to them.

Every minute matters! That is what is taught and coached! If the starters are in, then that means every minute matters for the subs who have taken their place. Every minute matters until the final buzzer. You are practicing/game to beat the best team on your schedule and getting ready for that opportunity when it finally arrives. Each moment of practice and game is setting you up for the ultimate challenge whenever that game finally arrives. That is what we do not get from the University of Illinois basketball coaching staff.
Simply amazing that this coaching staff wins so many games. a/s

Great to see MJ have a good game…no foul problems that limited his PT today…Tomi being out for several games may be a blessing for the team come March…the PT, experience, confidence that Rez is gaining hopefully will pay dividends come tourney time
