How did we do in the 2nd half of those games?
Quite masterfully, it appears, outscoring those three opponent(s) by a total combined 2nd half score of 144-107
Thanks for playing lol

Talk about negativity. It was just a question. What's wrong with you people?Oh my God..the negativity on here is ridiculous. 20 point wins are no longer good enough because we didn't throttle our opponent for a "full forty".

Maybe he told us that at some point. I can't say I recall that (or would even remember that). But why would that make me crack up as he suggested? Instead, I tried to think of the most inappropriate jobs for posting to message boards instead of working. You guys are acting like he hasn't told us a bunch of times that he's a valuation and financial consultant for large health systems and private physician practices.
Next are you going to tell me you don't know he's from Peoria but grew up in Iowa before moving to Chicago and getting his MBA at DePaul?

Lol, yeah, I didn’t mean to insinuate I had some super important job where it’d be like dark comedy if I were spending time on Loyalty during work hours.Maybe he told us that at some point. I mean, I teach/research at a university that many on here consider a rival to some degree (and many fans here aren't super don't of Illinois, either), but I still take breaks with you fine fellows to talk Illini. (EDIT: Not in conference and sure as hell not Mizzou. I'd rather be unemployed.)Lol, yeah, I didn’t mean to insinuate I had some super important job where it’d be like dark comedy if I were spending time on Loyalty during work hours.Just that it’s kind of a funny image of me spending like an hour on a model, needing a “mental break” and spending like 20 minutes using that “break” to still do analytical tasks but this time focused on my true love, Illini hoops.
For real, though, I’m skeptical of anyone who’s seemingly SO swamped with “office work” that they claim to have no time for breaks (obviously excluding several careers here like doctors, nurses, jobs away from a computer, etc.). There are days I barely have time to check Loyaly, to be sure, but there are other days where I’m waiting on coworkers or have 15 minutes to kill before a team meeting, and I’m already at my computer … so why not post the attendance history of games at the United Center to try to make a point, amirite?!![]()

Yeah well….F whoever you work for lolI mean, I teach/research at a university that many on here consider a rival to some degree (and many fans here aren't super don't of Illinois, either), but I still take breaks with you fine fellows to talk Illini.
And no offense, but I hope my kids go to school here because it would save me a LOT of money. But if they want to go to Illinois, I'll happily be fleeced.
They pay the bills.Yeah well….F whoever you work for lol

Well, I visited my son who teaches for the Med School at Missouri for Christmas. He took great joy in sporting Illini gear to work after we beat Mizzou in the annual game in St. Louis.I mean, I teach/research at a university that many on here consider a rival to some degree (and many fans here aren't super don't of Illinois, either), but I still take breaks with you fine fellows to talk Illini. That's fantastic. And had we beaten Arizona either of the two times we played them recently, I'd have seriously considered doing the same (though I didn't have tenure either time, so maybe I was right to keep my head down).Well, I visited my son who teaches for the Med School at Missouri for Christmas. Sorry airline pilot !Umm, you’re ruining the game.
FOTN holds the title of "janitor" at Paddy's Pub. He also takes on tasks no one else wants, often referred to as "Charlie Work"Just curious, FON … do you have another job besides this one?

When I first started reading this board I thought for a while that you and Chief Gritty were alter egos of an Illini fan in Philly, one incredibly optimistic and the other, less optimistic and happy....Wow, lol.![]()
