STOP SHOOTING all 3s when you’re in a scoring drought. Sheesh

BU : let’s try something different. New starting lineup! What else?
TU/Hamer : no need, let’s continue hoisting up three’s!

Boswell has to shoot that three. He can't be afraid to miss. He's in his own head.
Agree, despite his recent lack of success with it. Kylan always kind of walks like a tired old man, but I’m not liking his body language today. I don’t read it as pouting over not starting, just really down on himself.

Yeah, he was under pressure, but if he's going to bill himself as a player who deserves the majority of the minutes up front, he needs to vacuum that ball up....be a bit stronger.

1-8 from three. Looks like we've learned a lot..........SMH

Guess we're gonna choose to die by the three this year. Great
I mean, in fairness, if we don't take the threes we're taking, you might as well never shoot them. The quality of our three pt shots today has been ridiculously good. They're wide open. You simply have to hit those at an acceptable rate.

When you just cannot make your WIDE, WIDE OPEN threes. Not even guarding you. Have to take them. It's crazy how bad a shooting team we are.
And then people here in the postgame will scream about taking threes. In D1 ball, when a team doesn't guard you, you have to take them - you have no choice.

I'm honestly trying to struggling remember a worse Illini shooting team in recent memory.

At what point do you just finally realize that we cannot shoot threes? I mean, if you're not hitting at least 30% and you shoot more threes than twos when does the light go on that we may need to adjust to a different strategy? Try to get some open looks down low and draw some fouls possibly?

Ohio St is shooting 40% for the game. We're approaching the point where nothing else matters of we don't start hitting 3's.
